Hi friends! Just wanted to show you a quick and easy way to put together a Christmas “Potted Plant” for your front porch (or anywhere else )! I love plants, but usually to death! I was pretty lucky this year with succulents though…they need little water and love the sun! My front porch gets direct afternoon sun so I feel like I’m saving the lives of many plants by going faux for this particular area.
I usually like to get clippings from Christmas trees for my base, but this year I went even simpler and used an old wreath I had. I spread out the branches, then laid it down. I like to start with some height in the middle, such as these red berry stems, and work my way out. I used magnolia stems and various others that all came from Michael’s. By the way, they were all 50% off with an extra 25%! I also added in a few pine cones here and there, as well as, my “Tis The Season” sign. I love it and it took no more than 30 minutes! Plus, I don’t have to worry about it dying! Merry Christmas!!

So clever to use the wreath at the base! Beautiful arrangement!
Yeah, I saw it done at Home Depot and a lightbulb went off!
